In this video I will show you one of the mixing hints to make more dimension for your vocal in the mix. By widening we add more character to the singer’s voice.

Also we will be more familiar with SoundToys plugins and learn some features of these powerful plugins.

What is dynamic processing and how it affects the vocal ? Are you familiar with sound compressors and their parameters? In sixth episode of “The Art of Vocal Production” we tried to answer these questions.

The purpose of dynamic processing of a sound is modifying the louder parts of the signal. Sound engineers can do it manually or they can use a magic tool called sound compressor.

Sound compressors have few parameters which tweaking them will affect the results. So it’s necessary to learn these parameters to have a better understanding of the compressor and also reaching a better result.
